Bank JP Morgan was notified Monday by <\/span>Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier <\/span>that it was opening a probe due to its cooperation with a probe with the Biden administration\u2019s Arctic Frost, in an exclusive by American publication the<\/span> Daily Wire<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Uthmeier said in a <\/span>letter to JP Morgan <\/span>that he had \u201cgrave concerns\u201d about things the bank did regarding Trump Media, which operates in Florida and runs President Donald Trump\u2019s TRUTH Social.<\/p>\n

\u201cI write to express grave concerns about the explosive revelations regarding the Biden Administration\u2019s pursuit of its political adversaries, and [JPMorgan Chase\u2019s] ensuing actions in the shadow of this operation, codenamed \u2018Arctic Frost,’\u201d the letter obtained by the Daily Wire reads.<\/p>\n

In the letter Uthmeier notes that the Biden DOJ subpoenaed JPMorgan on March 28, 2023. That subpoena called for any and all records of Trump Media Group including \u201crecords covering a time period before [Trump Media] existed,\u201d the Florida attorney general noted. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIn addition to spying on Republican Senators,\u201d the letter states, \u201cthe Biden Administration subpoenaed sensitive banking information from several Florida individuals, organizations, and business entities including Trump Media & Technology Group, a Florida corporation.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Uthmeier suspects that JPMorgan Chase was providing sensitive banking information to the Department of Justice and Smith as part of the \u201cmalicious prosecutions\u201d into the president, the attorney general told the Daily Wire. He also said the bank was \u201casking many questions of Trump Media, its client, questions seemingly unrelated to its business.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cArctic Frost\u201d was an operation run under the Biden administration where Republican elected officials were spied on and the FBI had direct access to their locations and phone records.<\/p>\n

Uthmeier said in his letter that besides spying on GOP senators, the administration subpoenaed banking information from many Florida institutions, such as Trump Media & Technology Group Corp.<\/span><\/p>\n

A spokesperson for JP Morgan told the Daily Wire that the bank followed the law.<\/p>\n

Daily Wire said  JPMorgan alerted shareholders last week that it was \u201cresponding to requests from government authorities and other external parties regarding, among other things, the firm\u2019s policies and processes and the provision of services to customers and potential customers,\u201d an apparent reference to debanking. President Trump signed an <\/span>executive order in August<\/a> demanding that regulators look into \u201cpoliticized or unlawful debanking\u201d by the big banks.<\/span><\/p>\n

“We follow the law in responding to subpoenas from the government and will continue to do so,\u201d spokesperson Lauren Bianchi said.<\/p>\n

She said that discrimination on banking is wrong and people shouldn\u2019t lose their accounts due to broken policies.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not fair and it shouldn\u2019t happen, and it\u2019s great that this Administration is finally brining needed regulatory change we\u2019ve been requesting for years,\u201d she told the Daily Wire.<\/p>\n
