The National Consumer Commission (NCC) has issued urgent notifications regarding several critical vehicle recalls affecting popular models from Ford, BMW, Volkswagen, and Hino.<\/p>\n

The recalls stem from safety concerns, with potential risks to drivers and passengers that warrant immediate attention.<\/p>\n

Ford Mustang and Ford Transit Custom recalls<\/h2>\n

The Ford Motor Company has initiated a recall for its iconic <\/span>Ford Mustang, specifically affecting models produced between 2021 and 2022.<\/p>\n

The issue lies with a low-pressure fuel pump that, if compromised, may result in a loss of fuel delivery to the engine.<\/p>\n

This failure could cause the vehicle to stall while driving, posing a significant risk of accidents on the road.<\/p>\n

The Ford Transit Custom is one of the vehicles being recalled. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Additionally, <\/span>Ford Transit Custom <\/span>vehicles made available from 2024 to 2025 are being recalled due to a defect involving the passenger’s airbag. In a collision, the inflator filter may prevent gas from properly deploying the airbag, increasing the risk of injury.<\/p>\n

BMW and Volkswagen safety concerns<\/h3>\n

BMW AG is also recalling its <\/span>X3 (G45) <\/span>series vehicles, where a manufacturing error has resulted in incorrectly produced outer head restraints on the rear seats.<\/p>\n

The rear axle has not been bolted with the required torque, which could lead to detachment from the body and a catastrophic loss of control while driving.<\/p>\n

The Hino 500 buses have also been recalled.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Hino 500 series buses affected<\/h3>\n

The recall affects vehicles produced between 5 July 2018 and 12 August 2025, and the absence of split pins exacerbates the potential for steering failure while on the road.<\/p>\n
